I downloaded Wesabe but didn't feel comfortable giving them my banking information and inputting my stuff manually was too much work. It wasn't 'learning' my stuff as I went. I spoke to their customer service but they weren't much help. Seems their system has a lot of bugs in it. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Oh yeah, and I recommend you read the book "Rich Woman" by Kim Kiyosaki. It's available as an audiobook from the Vancouver Library! I think you'd really like it!

I use <a href="https://www.wesabe.com/" rel="nofollow">Wesabe</a> to track my finances. It's like Quicken in that you can download your bank account & credit card statements, but it's better because (a) it's free and (b) it learns your habits as you use it (e.g., you can make it automatically tag things - like everything it sees an entry from Safeway, it will tag it with "food" and "groceries" or everytime it sees an entry from Shell it tags it as "gas" and "transportation"). Also, you can set it up to automatically download your statements so that you don't have to do it manually. And it makes pretty graphs - who doesn't love pretty graphs? Plus there's an iPhone app to track your cash spending (which, of course, requires that you have an iPhone!)

There are other measures that also contribute to the consolidation of credit card debt, as the benefits of debt management companies. Experts from these companies try to open negotiations with its creditors to reduce or eliminate interest and penalties on your account. You can also participate in the hearing of loans and debt management programs because it allows you to learn how to manage their debt.

Love the new pet feeding station!

Also, Taiko (Tod's cat) always "buries" his food (i.e., makes motions with his paw as if he's brushing dirt on top of his food dish) after eating. It's really cute!

Yup, all of Vancouver is Zone 1. I think Burnaby is in Zone 2, and if so, technically you should pay the two-zone fair to go from Burnaby to Vancouver (but you'd have to check the map on that).

Nope, it doesn't have to be a direct transfer - one fare buys you unlimited travel anywhere in the zone(s) you paid for. If you are doing a short trip that can be done in fewer than 90 minutes, you could go out and back again on the same fare!

Of course, it's probably easier to just not take that crazy route!

I thought of that but since it's on a route not connected to the other lines, I figured I had to pay for another ticket. Technically it's not a transfer since they are not connected? If I'm wrong, let me know and I'll know for the next time I decide to do that crazy route!

OK, so you are probably going to kill me for saying this, but when you took the second Skytrain, why did you pay another $2.50 - wouldn't your transfer from the first Skytrain trip still be valid?
